Weight
The weight of any item always matters in backpacking. First aid kits usually have a lot of items. Each item can weigh a lot. It really depends on what you want to bring and what you don’t want to bring. Just remember that the more weight that you carry, the more fatigue you will become. A good first aid kit should be lightweight so that it will be easy to carry and not too bothersome.
Contents
The contents of the first aid kit matters. Most first aid kits will have enough basic items to help you recover from minor injuries. There are items in the container that are not that important and there are items that have an excessive amount especially for a few days’ worth of backpacking trip.
