Another very easy hike that is also very beautiful. The downside is that it is somewhat far from other popular hikes in Adirondack Mountains. The views are somewhat block also but I found a few where the views are not blocked. Overall, a good hike for beginners and photographers. It does not take a lot of time and very easy to get up and get down.

Start Of The Hike
A lightning bolt came streaking across the dark sky. A sharp white line that zigzag through the heavens, one moment it was there, the next moment it was gone. Only the roaring sound of thunder that followed afterwards could be heard. Perhaps it was a sign to not hike today but it was too late for me to go back as I was already here at the trail head and something inside me was urging me to go on, telling me that everything will be alright.

Red Trail Going Up
I felt the cold air touch my skin as I was going up the mountain, it kept my body cool and refreshed as sweat started accumulating underneath my clothes. The ascent wasn’t hard nor difficult but it was enough to make me sweat and make my body work hard. I stepped on the footpath blanketed by dead leaves, my foot slid a little a few times due to the mild rain but it wasn’t something my boots couldn’t handle.
Red Trail Ascending
I kept going up the mountain as a few droplets of rain trickled on top of my head. I wasn’t bothered of it, in fact, I kind of liked it. It kept my body cool and refreshed as I kept hiking up the mountain. I was in the middle of the Fall foliage in ADK, and this would have been an amazing hike under normal circumstances but the rain and lack of sunlight were not the most ideal conditions for taking pictures nor for photography.
