Mount Arab hike is a somewhat easy hike that a lot of people could do. There is a small viewpoint at the top and a fire tower with a 360 degree view. The fire tower views are amazing. Definitely one of the best hikes to do if you love the views on top of a fire tower. The hike is mostly ascending or going upwards but the trails are very well maintained. There are ladders and planks along the way to help people reach the top a lot easier.

The footpath was very well maintained with various stones configured to look like a set of stairs to make it easy for hikers and tourists to get up the mountain. I had a big smile on my face since places that were well maintained often have amazing viewpoints. The trail looked like it was constructed by human beings which often meant that the trail is rather easy. I walked upwards happily without a care in the world.

The place was so well-maintained that it even had ladders. I stepped on the wooden ladder going upwards, it was strong, sturdy and hardly wiggled at all with my body weight. Maybe this was meant to protect hikers from mud or prevent erosion but it certainly made the upward ascent a lot easier. I climbed upwards effortlessly without even the need to balance my body as the wooden platform was very stable that I felt like I was walking on a stairs back at my home.

The ascent became even more gentle, a good sign that I was almost at the top or near the viewpoint. The day had been so bright and so blue, that to hike on this mountain on this beautiful day felt nice and good to the soul.
