My birthday is coming up. In enlightenment, if you want to age slower or stop aging, one of the practices is to not believe in time. Birthday is one of the big reasons that we age. So I tend to forget my birthday and my age. My family often reminds me of my birthday. To me, it is just another ordinary day.
If I don’t have a job, I wouldn’t even care about Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and so on. I wouldn’t remember what day it is. Only reason to remember is to go to work. If I don’t have to go to work, I wouldn’t remember what day it is.
So a good mantra, “there is no future, there is no past, there is only right now”. Always remember that right now is the only thing that matters because it is the only thing that exists. If you say this mantra at night and believe it, it feels good.
If You Have A Girlfriend
If you have a girlfriend, you always celebrate her birthday. Women are very feminine or they have lots of feminine energy. Feminine energy is receiving love. So in her birthday, it is often expected that she will receive lots of love on that day. As a man, you are more masculine. Masculine energy means giving love. So you have to give lots of love on her birthday.
